EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – March 20, 2012 – Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. today announced Frogger: Hyper Arcade Edition is arriving this Spring for the PlayStation®Network for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, and Nintendo’s WiiWare™ service on Wii™. The OFLC has brought along not one, but two interesting ratings today.

Unfortunately, the second listing is a bit of a downer. It seems that Namco Bandai will be selling One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP2 in Europe for the full price of a 3DS game.

Why is this a problem? In Japan, One Piece: Unlimited Cruise SP wasn’t chopped up into two separate games. The package included both Wii ports of the One Piece: Unlimited Cruise. For the European version, however, Namco Bandai only added in the first title because of 3DS card size issues relating to the inclusion of five different languages.

Basically, whereas Japanese consumers paid for one complete games, it looks like European 3DS owners will be forced to dish out another round of cash for the second One Piece Unlimited Cruise SP port.

The OFLC, the Australian Classification Board, has rated Vectorman 2 for “multiple platforms”. This doesn’t confirm a WiiWare release, but we would hope that we’ll be seeing it on the Wii Shop Channel soon.

CoroCoro is turning 35 this year, and so they’re celebrating with a special contest. The magazine is teaming up with Nintendo to give one lucky winner a commemorative 3DS.
