Don’t be fooled: this is not the E3 2011 trailer. There’s a large amount of old footage here, but there are also a number of new scenes mixed in. The opening is definitely new, as are a few seconds after Link nods his head in the middle of the video. Also, there’s some new footage towards the end of the trailer as well, showing what I assume is a Goron!

Pac-Man Party 3D has been getting some attention today due to a listing found on Amazon. But some of you may remember that the game was announced during E3. So, it’s not anything that we haven’t heard about before! Amazon says that it’ll be released on December 27, though Namco Bandai has yet to confirm that date.

The trademarks below were actually registered prior to E3. Right now I wouldn’t make too much of them since trademarks are often obtained just for protection purposes.

Star Fox 64 3D boxart

I’m not calling this the final boxart just yet. Kid Icarus: Uprising isn’t due out in Europe until next year, so I’m not too sure that the retail art has been prepared yet.

Sometimes I wish that the 3DS’ cameras were’t so… terrible. Even a slightly higher resolution would have been nice!

Capcom has been pretty mum about the reason behind Mega Man Legends 3’s cancellation. On their official blog, it was only stated that “it was not felt that the Mega Man Legends 3 Project met the required criteria”.

A more concrete reason for the game’s cancellation might have something to do with fans. At least, that’s what Capcom Europe has indicated. The company hinted on their Twitter account that the game may have seen a different fate had fans been more active with the project and participated more on dev rooms.

“@kdawg3000 We weren’t asking people to do much but response to dev rooms was cool at best …@kdawg3000 it’s a shame the fans didn’t want to get more involved 🙁 if we saw there was an audience for MML3 people might change minds”

Thanks to Jake for the tip!

I’d say that Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions was pretty good considering the games we saw after Spider-Man 2. Beenox is taking somewhat of a safe approach with this “sequel” (yes, I’m aware it’s not truly a sequel), but at least this title shouldn’t be too shabby.

Mario received an anniversary compilation. Zelda is getting concerts, a special Wii MotionPlus accessory, two soundtracks, and three games. Metroid is the last of Nintendo’s “big three” to turn 25 this year, but Nintendo isn’t doing anything special as far as we know.

But, hey! At least there’s a hub site for you to explore over at Nintendo UK. You can access it right here.

Let’s pray that there’s more in store than just this website…
