Update: Actually, it’s Monday now… So E3 begins today!
Welp, we’re finally here! E3 2011 will officially begin in just a few hours. And in case you haven’t heard, we’ll be having the biggest E3 coverage to date on Nintendo Everything and Gaming Everything.
Austin and the rest of the crew have arrived in Los Angeles, so, if everything goes well, we should have a bunch of articles, photos, videos, and other features available for you this week.

Be warned: 3DS update can cause Ridge Racer 3D to freeze

The first major 3DS update will be live in about 24 hours from now. However, you should be aware of the fact that the update can cause Ridge Racer 3D to freeze.
The bug may pop up before starting a Single Play or Grand Prix race. But it can be avoided if you simply abstain from pressing the “B” button on the Machine Select and Race Select screens.
Another firmware update will be offered in mid-June to patch the issue.
Nintendo opens Japanese E3 2011 website

Nintendo of Japan has now joined North America by opening an E3 site of their own. Fans can expect a live stream of the company’s media briefing on Tuesday and it will be available for viewing later. The site will most likely see a full reveal once the conference has ended.

The image below has been circulated around the net as a “leaked” off-screen shot of Super Mario 3DS from a Spanish magazine. However, the rumor has already been debunked. As you can see below, the first image was “recreated” using a photo from a different title.
