Cat Quest 2

A new update is now available for the 2D open-world action-RPG Cat Quest II, publisher PQube and developer The Gentlebros have announced. It adds a New Game+ feature, improves the AI of your pawtner when playing solo, tracks completion more prominently, and more.

Here’s an overview of the update:

The Nintendo UK store is taking pre-orders for the latest two amiibo. Dark Samus, along with Richter, can be found here.

Both of these new amiibo are due out on January 17, 2020.

During another one of its regular live streams on Niconico today, Hamster announced another round of Arcade Archives games for Switch. Exerion, Saint Dragon, Penguin Wars, and XX Dragon are all planned for release. Specific dates weren’t shared.

Hamster also reconfirmed other previously-announced titles, including VS. Balloon Fight (coming next week) and Tecmo Bowl. The Arcade Archives series will continue going forward.

Bee Simulator

Bee Simulator has updated on Switch to version 1.2.0. New features have been added such as additional challenges in split-screen mode, bug fixes, and more.

Famitsu hosted a live stream for the re-release of Monster Rancher today and showed off a bunch of footage on Switch. We’ve included the full recording below.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate is out today in Japan. The day 1 update for the game includes several fixes and improvements, in addition to a Christmas costume for Gaia, which you can see above.

Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will launch on February 14 in the West. It seems likely that this costume will be included in the base game of the Western version, or be available as a day 1 patch as well.

A new set of missions have been added to Pokemon Masters. Aptly titled “New Year’s Missions”, these will be available until January 1st. The missions require you to clear up to 50 singleplayer and co-op battles. The rewards include Gems, Evolution Shards and Evolution Crystals.

Version 1.20 of Kill la Kill: IF is now available on Nintendo Switch. As previously announced, this update adds the new playable character Mako Mankanshoku among other improvements.

Turn-based tactics game Warhammer Quest 2: The End Times will be released on Nintendo Switch on December 23. Youtube channel Handheld Players got their hands on an early copy and recorded some footage:
