New Xenoblade

According to Xenoblade Chronicles director Tetsuya Takahashi, assuming we see another entry in the series, it “will likely be something vastly different from what came before.”

A message from Takahashi was included in the recently-released Xenoblade Chronicles 3 soundtrack release. Xenomira has since provided a translation.

Paperman: Adventure Delivered

Original: Publisher Mindscape and developer Secret Item Games today announced Paperman: Adventure Delivered, a new 3D platformer. Switch will be getting it this September.

MythForce physical

Limited Run Games is preparing a physical release for MythForce on Switch, the company has announced.

Two versions are planned. Alongside the regular standard edition, fans will also have the option to purchase a collector’s edition (officially known as the VHS Edition). The latter comes in a clamshell case and includes pins, stickers, a poster and the official soundtrack.

Switch update 16.1.0

Nintendo is back with a new firmware update for Switch, and version 16.1.0 is starting to go live for all users.

Chants of Sennaar release date

Original (4/19): Chants of Sennaar has secured a final release date. The puzzle adventure title is lined up for September 5, 2023, Focus Entertainment and Rundisc confirmed today.

Chants of Sennaar was first announced for Switch last April. We knew it was planned for 2023, but we didn’t have an exact date until below.

Sea of Stars physical

A physical release of Sea of Stars is in the works for Switch, iam8bit and Sabotage Studio have revealed. A release is planned for early 2024 in both North America and Europe.

Sea of Stars will be making its digital debut in just over a week. Thankfully, fans are being given an early heads up that a physical version will be made available later on.

Don't Starve Together Cult of the Lamb

Starting today, Cult of the Lamb players can access a special update featuring a crossover event with Don’t Starve Together.

One of the main attractions is a new Penitence mode, which has the Lamb needing to eat and sleep to survive, along with their followers. However, there’s a unique Webber follower form that will never die of starvation.

Super Mario Bros Wonder Charles Martinet

Charles Martinet is not involved with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, according to an official statement shared by Nintendo.

Earlier today, the company announced that Martinet is stepping back from voicing characters in its games. As part of that, he’ll now be a “Mario Ambassador”.

Thunder Ray

Purple Tree has announced a new project Thunder Ray, and we know it’ll be appearing on Switch. Currently it’s targeting a 2023 release.

Punch-Out!! has been missing in action for quite some time, but Thunder Ray could fill that void. It’s a retro-like arcade boxing game that promises a “modern twist”.
