Fire Emblem Heroes Lyn Of Blazing

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems are planning Lyn: Of Blazing as a new Emblem Hero for Fire Emblem Heroes, the two sides announced today. The character goes live this week.

That’s not all for the event. Previously released 5-star Legendary, Mythic, and Emblem Heroes will be appearing as well.

Lyn: Of Blazing will be available starting December 24 / December 25. Get a look at the official trailer below.

Backpack Hero Tote-ally Rebalanced update

A new Backpack Hero “Tote-ally Rebalanced” update has been announced, which should roll out on Nintendo Switch in the future.

This is a “massive” update focusing on rebalancing most of Tote’s items and introducing new ones. There are 42 rebalanced items, 4 rebalanced relics, and 31 new items. Pochette will be getting her own balance update in the future as well.

Nintendo just started up a new “Hits for the Holidays” sale on Switch eShop. The company says that discounts are available for up to 50 percent off, but we’ve seen a bunch that are lower than that.

Both first-party and third-party games are included here. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and Zelda: Skyward Sword are some of the Nintendo highlights.

Faaast Penguin Sands of Egypt Night Party

Faaast Penguin is getting on Nintendo Switch today, which brings along a Sands of Egypt Night Party world.

Four new courses have been added as part of the update. Additionally, a “Sand Splash” gimmick has been introduced, and the team has addressed lag during online races.

Truck Driver Heading North DLC

SOEDESCO today announced its future plans for the Truck Driver franchise, which includes confirmation that Nintendo Switch will be getting Heading North DLC. This will be available sometime in 2025.

The Heading North DLC originally released earlier in the year. Players are able to experience more trucking adventures around the  country of Mangefjell with a Nordic-inspired landscape, new characters, fresh jobs, and more.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending December 21, 2024 is now available.

EA Sports FC 24 was previously on a strong run, but now slips to #3. Elsewhere Hogwarts Legacy maintains its spot at #2. There are also a bunch of Nintendo Switch exclusives throughout the top ten with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe leading the way at #4.
