Bloomtown: A Different Story release date

As part of today’s Gamescom festivities, Bloomtown: A Different Story received a release date. Those looking to pick it up on Switch can do so starting September 24, 2024.

It’s been a little over a year since we originally reported on Bloomtown: A Different Story. First planned for Q2 2024, the game slipped a bit and is now dropping next month.

Speedollama

Chaosmonger Studio is bringing its new game Speedollama to Switch, the studio just announced. It will be available on October 21, 2024.

Speedollama is a side-scrolling platformer shooter with a pixel art, retro-arcade aesthetic. We’ve got more information about it in the following overview:

Guayota trailer

Farewell North trailer

Mooneye Studios distributed a final trailer for Farewell North, an open world adventure experience. This one just recently arrived on Switch.

Civilization VI release date

Following its announcement in June, we now have a release date and proper look at Civilization VII with a fresh gameplay trailer. The video just debuted at Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2024.

Civilization VII now has a release date of February 11, 2025. The game will come in the form of a standard version and Deluxe Edition – if you opt for the latter, you’ll be able to play five days earlier on February 6.

We’ve got the official Gamescom: Opening Night Live 2024 live stream just ahead of the event. The fun begins at 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 7 PM in the UK / 8 PM in Europe – but note that there’ll be a pre-show a half hour before that.

Civilization VII and Little Nightmares III are confirmed Switch games for the two-hour show. We’ll share the latest on those titles once the news drop and anything else that’s Nintendo-related.

Stumble Guys trailer

A final launch trailer is here for Stumble Guys. Starting today, owners of Nintendo’s console can get their hands on the free-to-play title.

Sonic Generations Doom Powers

SEGA just issued a new Sonic x Shadow Generations trailer which highlights the game’s Doom Powers.

Doom Powers “offer dynamic, action-packed ways of navigating iconic stages and defeating challenging bosses.” Players will be able to use Doom Spear, Doom Blast, Doom Morph, Doom Wing, and Doom Surf throughout the campaign.

Funko Fusion Invincible

Another trailer for Funko Fusion has come in, and we’ve got a closer look at the Invincible part of the game. After completing the level, players can unlock Invincible and Omni-Man as playable characters.

It’s time for another Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics trailer, this time for Marvel vs. Capcom Clash of Super Heroes. The game features a Special Partner that joins your team of two to assist in combat. Another features is the Variable Cross system, which lets you attack simultaneously with a tag-team partner, and use unlimited Hyper Combos.
