XSEED is teasing a new game reveal. The company posted a message on Twitter, which doesn’t give a whole lot away, but a discovery may narrow down the possible titles.

First, let’s take a look at the Twitter tease:

Now here’s the important bit: XSEED acquired the domain “HanzoNationalAcademy.com” late last month. This is the high school where the entire franchise is based.

So assuming we’re dealing with Senran Kagura here, a big question arises: which game will XSEED be bringing over? It’ll likely be either Senran Kagura Burst or Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus – a title for the PS Vita.

Young Justice: Legacy is coming out in September – that is, on non-Nintendo platforms (and PC).

We heard about a delay for the Wii U, Wii, and 3DS versions back in June. Now the news had been made official, and with a new tentative release window.

It did initially seem like a launch would be coming in 2014, but as it turns out, it’s only a two month delay. The official Young Justice: Legacy Facebook page notes:

The Nintendo versions will have the same story from Brandon and Greg and will be using the same art, but will have their own combat style to take advantage of their unique controls. We’ll be showing off some screenshots soon.

However development is running a little behind, so the official release date has been pushed back to November this year. We sincerely apologize for the delay. We appreciate how patient fans of the show have been.

Namco Bandai has opened a teaser site for Kuroko’s Basketball: Miraculous Victory, its new game for the 3DS. News about the title first made it out through a recent issue of Jump.

You can access the site here. There’s nothing to see currently, but I imagine we’ll be receiving details and screenshots soon.

pokemon_x_y_poster-2

Nintendo hasn’t announced any pre-order bonuses for Pokemon X/Y, but GameStop may be giving out its own special item. There is at least one report of the retailer handing out a poster, measuring in at over two feet wide.

So now the question is: are all (or many, at least) GameStop locations handing out the bonus? Or was this just a special occurrence?

E.X. Troopers is one of those games that sounded like it would never head over to North America and Europe. But wait – there is a small glimmer of hope!

Capcom’s Andrew Szymanski has suggested that E.X. Troopers could be localized with the right amount of fan input:

“Whether it’s E.X. Troopers or any other Japan-only games we do or even games we are considering doing, the best thing we can get is input. I don’t need an online petition. I just need people to go on the community sites, e-mail some of our community guys, and say these are the kinds of games we want to see.”

“Whether they are games released overseas that they want in other territories—again what made Strider possible was having that backup. James [Vance] and I can walk into a boardroom and say we want to make Strider, but they’re going to say, ‘Who cares about Strider anymore?’ These people care. You have got to be able to drop that big printout on that table.”

And when it was mentioned how Mega Man fans have been vocal over the past few years, Szymanski said:

“Well, we have to take it one at a time. Strider was the right opportunity at the right time with the right time with the right partner. We are always looking at what we can do down the line and in the future as well. Capcom wants to bring stuff like Strider and take games people know and bring them back to do cool things with them.”

When Christian Svensson was still at Capcom, he said that there were no plans to localize E.X. Troopers. At one point, Svensson noted how a release overseas would require the company “to redo a ton of art in the game, not just do the localization and loc QA.”
