Nintendo releasing 3DS data transfer tool in March
Posted on 11 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, 3DS eShop, News | 0 comments
Currently, there isn’t a way to transfer save data between a retail 3DS game and a title downloaded from the eShop. In March, however, this issue will be solved.
Speaking in a short Japanese Nintendo Direct published only on the 3DS eShop, company president Satoru Iwata promised that a transfer tool will be released in no more than a couple of months. Nintendo had said last year that it was working on a solution, but did not give an exact date for the tool’s launch.
More games are coming digitally to the Japanese eShop. Pocket Soccer League Calciobit, Culdcept, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Pokémon Rumble Blast and nintendogs + cats will be available next week.

Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS will both be shown at E3 2013

When Smash Bros. 4 was announced, Satoru Iwata revealed that separate versions would be released for the Wii U and 3DS. Iwata confirmed the company’s intentions to show the games at this year’s E3 during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, but since then, director Masahiro Sakurai has confirmed that both versions will be at the expo.
Sakurai wrote on Twitter:
“Wii U and 3DS versions — I would like to show you both. Other games have had visuals shown, but you still have to wait for Smash Bros. But we’ll be able to release something better.”
Along with the quotes above, Sakurai apologized for the long wait for the new Smash Bros.
Disney Infinity will have yearly releases

Disney Interactive will be releasing Disney Infinity games on a regular basis – each year, in fact. Activision has gotten into the same habit with its Skylanders franchise.
While speaking with VideoGamer, producer John Vignocchi discussed how yearly releases will be handled:
“With Infinity we’re looking at releasing versions that come out each year and those will feature all of the content [for] the year. One of the reasons why we did the figures was that future versions of Infinity will still respect all of those characters. So when we release a future version of Infinity, although we won’t have a Play Set that necessarily goes with the characters, the characters will still be able to play inside of the Toy Box, and we’ll add new features to future versions of Infinity as well.”
Fortunately, any character made for a Disney Infinity sequel will work with all previous games, according to Vignocchi.
