Head on over to GameStop and place a pre-order for Scribblenauts Unlimited to receive one of three Rooster Hat bonuses. The item will be given to consumers when the game launches. Three hat variations are planned: Maxwell’s original red, his Doppelganger’s blue, or his sister Lily’s pink.

GameStop will also offer a unique 3DS bundle for Scribblenauts Unlimited. It includes a copy of the game, a specially designed pencil-style stylus, and a Maxwell silicone case.

Today’s Nintendo Direct broadcast lacked information on downloadable content for New Super Mario Bros. 2. It’s still on the way, but president Satoru Iwata asked players for a little extra time. He noted how the game only came out overseas less than two weeks ago.

When the DLC is ready to be unveiled, Nintendo will make a global announcement. In other words, details will be sent through the North American, European, and Japanese divisions at the same time.

Iwata also reconfirmed Nintendo’s new stance to release all 3DS retail games on the eShop. Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone! and Animal Crossing: Jump Out will both be available on the store when they’re ready to go in Japan. Iwata personally likes the idea of having these titles on the home menu.
