Based on information provided by reliable NPD leaker “Creamsugar” and others, hardware sales for unannounced June 2013 figures are now available. We previously knew about the 3DS and Xbox 360 thanks to official statements, but data for other systems are now in as well.

Pre-orders for Devil Survivor 2 have been delayed a bit in Europe. Publisher Ghostlight said in a new blog post today that the company is “just waiting on final approval of the content that we hope to include with the European edition.”

In any case, Ghostlight has now shared a couple of pre-order options that will be available to interested RPG fans:

Option 1: Standalone Release

• Devil Survivor 2 (DS)
• This factory sealed edition will be available to all PAL territories and anyone pre-ordering from us will have the option to include their name in the DS2 manual.
• Pre-Order price £24.99/€29.99

Option 2: Devil Survivor Bundle

• Devil Survivor 2 (DS) & Devil Survivor Overclocked (3DS) with £10.00 discount!
• Both games will be factory sealed and as with Option 1, anyone pre-ordering the bundle will have the option to include their name in the DS2 manual. Regrettably, we will not be able to ship this bundle to Germany due to an existing distribution agreement.
• Pre-Order price £49.98/€59.98 (usual price £59.98/€69.98)

Ghostlight will need to see 1,800 pre-orders in the span of a month in order to make the European release of Devil Survivor 2 a reality. If the final total is far off, “everyone who ordered Devil Survivor 2 on its own will receive a full refund while those who ordered the bundle will receive a refund of £24.99 – meaning that you will still receive Devil Survivor Overclocked with the huge £10.00 discount.”

Ghostlight has also said the following regarding Devil Survivor 2’s potential release date:

We’re expecting manufacture to take five weeks so assuming we reach our target and we enter manufacturing when pre-orders close, the game should be released at the end of September. If we reach our target sooner than the pre-order deadline, then we will naturally move into manufacturing before the close of pre-orders, meaning that you would get your game a little sooner.

It’s the megaton announcement you’ve been waiting for: a new SpongeBob title for all Nintendo platforms. “SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge” will be available for the Wii U, Wii, 3DS, DS, along with the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this fall.

An official overview from Activision reads:

SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge is a third-person, co-op gaming adventure, developed by Behaviour Interactive, which combines exploration, adventure and puzzle-solving. In this original story, Sheldon J. Plankton – known for his obsession with stealing the Krusty Krab’s secret formula – and his new legion of evil robots have destroyed the Krusty Krab and stolen the safe that houses the famous Krabby Patty formula. Fans can choose to play as SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Sandy or Mr. Krabs as they try to locate the hidden keys to the safe before the Krabby Patty formula is lost forever.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge launches on October 22.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes appears to be launching on October.

We’ve been digging around various retailer listings for release date information, and came across a few that have something in common. Amazon, GameFly, and GameStop all say that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will be out on October 22.

Warner Bros. previously confirmed a vague fall 2013 window for the title.

In other news, those who pre-order LEGO Marvel Super Heroes from Amazon, will receive a $10 credit. The offer is valid for almost all versions – with the DS game being the one exception.

A new Ace Attorney game could very well be in the cards. Motohide Eshiro, producer of the sub-series’ two games, is very interested in making a third.

Eshiro told Siliconera that he “would love to do another one”. Scenario writer Tsuyoshi Yamazaki would also likely be interested in contributing. Making Ace Attorney Investigations 3 is simply “a matter of securing the appropriate personnel within Capcom and getting everything planned”. While he can’t promise anything, he’s going to try and look into that in the future.

“As far as a continuation of the Investigations series goes, I would love to do another one, personally, and I know [scenario director] Mr. Yamazaki would also be interested in getting something like that spun up. It would be a matter of securing the appropriate personnel within Capcom and getting everything planned, so I intend to try to do something with that in the future, but I can’t make any promises.”
