Ubisoft says it is working on a ZombiU prototype. That’s according to creative director Jean-Philippe Caro, who contributed to the original Wii U game.

Caro tweeted over the weekend:

While a prototype may be in the works, it doesn’t necessarily guarantee a sequel. Prototypes can come and go, but unless the higher-ups at Ubisoft give the green light, it won’t enter development.

D3Publisher has officially announced three new video games: “Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!”, “Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby In 8-Bit Land”, and “Ben 10 Omniverse 2”. The latter two titles had been leaked through GameFly listings yesterday.

Like last year’s Adventure Time release, “Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW!” is once again being made by WayForward, and creator Pendleton Ward is on board. The game is set for release this fall on the Wii U, 3DS, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.

D3Publishers shared the following details in its announcement today:

Four Brand-New Pokémon, the New Region, and Official Package Art Revealed for the First Time

LONDON, UK —May 14, 2013— When Pokémon fans begin their thrilling 3D adventure in Pokémon X or Pokémon Y this October, they will be transported into an entirely new region called Kalos. A mysterious place that is shaped like a star, Kalos is a region where players will encounter beautiful forests, thriving cities, and many never-before-seen Pokémon. The central city of this breathtaking region is Lumiose City, a metropolis featuring a tower that is set to become an iconic structure in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

While exploring the Kalos region, Trainers will encounter many new Pokémon that they can battle, catch, and add to their Pokédex. A Trainer is only as good as the Pokémon he or she befriends. Seven new Pokémon debuting in Pokémon X and Pokémon Y were introduced earlier this year—and today, four additional Pokémon are being revealed for the first time. These Pokémon add to the more than 640 Pokémon that have been encountered in previous games.

D3Publisher will be distributing a new title based on the Cartoon Network animated series Regular Show, GameFly has hinted. The retailer lists “Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-bit Land” for release on the 3DS later this year.

GameFly doesn’t include many details on its product page. As mentioned above, D3P is listed as published. GameFly also says that the game will launch on October 29.

In other news that some folks may (or may not) care about, GameFly lists Ben 10 Omniverse 2 for the Wii U and 3DS. The game hasn’t been announced yet, but GameFly lists a November 5 release date.

Okay, I admit that this is far from a major discount, but it is a deal: Fire Emblem: Awakening is available on Amazon for $34.96. Given how tough it has been to find Awakening at retail, that’s a pretty darn good price. And have we mentioned that the game is great?

Insomniac CEO and founder Ted Price recently said that he considers the Wii U to be more of a current-gen console. That doesn’t mean that he and his studio have no interest in the console, however.

In fact, Price himself is a fan of the Wii U, and believes high-quality Nintendo games will give a much-needed boost to the system:

“As a player what I would love to see is more of those games that I grew up with. Zeldas, Marios, Metroid – those are the games I look for from Nintendo, and I hope more of them come out for the Wii U.”
