Earlier today, analyst Daniel Gibson at Macquarie Capital Securities Limited tweeted that a fire broke out at a Wii U assembly factory in Japan. Gibson mentioned that Nintendo would revise its shipping forecast as a result.

Nintendo has now officially responded to the situation, and it looks like the fire won’t have a major effect on production. The company said, “As of now, we see no impacts on our Wii U console production scheme”.

CVG reports that supply constraints have been an issue for the Big N thus far. Due to strong demand, many retailers already sold out of allocated stock.

Fortunately, it seems as though this latest development won’t negatively impact the Wii U production line.

The Wii U will be playable, and there will be a bunch of games to try out. New Super Mario Bros. U, Nintendo Land, and ZombiU are just a few of the titles expected at the show.

On the 3DS, attendees can get their hands on software such as Paper Mario: Sticker Star, Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Adventure Time, and Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion. The upcoming eShop game Crashmo will also be playable.
