Renegade Kid will make a sequel to the hit eShop title Mutant Mudds, Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham has revealed. It will be released sometime in 2013.

The game’s new “kick” is its boss battles and extra content. Although there will still be five worlds, each will now contain five levels, the last of which houses a boss battle. In order to proceed to a new world, players will need to defeat one of the game’s bosses. The boss battle level will open up once a world’s other four levels are completed.

Mutant Mudds arrived on the North American back in January. European gamers will finally have a chance to download the title next week.

Heroes of Ruin is out today in Europe! North American 3DS owners will have to wait an extra month for the game.

The Amazing Spider-Man 3DS demo can be downloaded from the North American eShop right now. I imagine it’ll be heading to Europe soon.

Footage of the demo can be viewed in the video above, which shows a rather odd glitch.
