Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward scenario writer Koutaro Uchikoshi has been talking about a sequel for awhile now. Even after all of these months, Uchikoshi is still chatting up a storm about a new entry in the series.

Uchikoshi tweeted the following over the past few days:

Fractured Soul could hit European/Australian eShops in January

Fractured Soul hasn’t arrived on the European or Australian eShops yet, but its release is still in the cards. The game has finally been approved for PAL regions, so it should launch in the near future. A release in mid-January is sounding likely at the moment.

The following message was posted on the Fractured Soul Facebook page yesterday:

“Some good news! Fractured Soul has finally been approved for Nintendo eShop in Europe/Australia/NZ! We don’t have a firm release date yet, but probably around mid January.”

Trine 2: Director’s Cut notes – update details, demo, Australian release, more

Frozenbyte has news about all-things Trine 2: Director’s Cut. A member of the studio commented on the game’s sales thus far, the possibility of having a sale on the North American eShop, the contents of December’s update, demo, and Australian release.

Sales

– Frozenbyte pleased with sales
– No specific numbers yet
– Don’t count on Frozenbyte sharing data publicly

eShop sale

– 20% discount only in Europe right now
– Originally wanted to do the same discount in North America
– 20% discount could be initiated for North America for the holidays, but nothing is set in stone

Update

– Releasing in mid-December
– Adds voice chat
– Also adds Wii U controller support
– Minor fixes
– New langues like BR-PT
– Additional vividness to the graphics

Demo

– Releasing next month

Australian release

– Not out yet because it was submitted to the OFLC too late
– In the process of being rated now
– Once this is done, the game should go up very quickly
– Estimated release of mid-December
