These subtle improvements can be found throughout the game. One example are the rear walls of Incident 2, which used to be flat against the character and now extend deep into the playfield. Etrian Odyssey IV demo will be available in Japan

A new pamphlet circulating around in Japan indicates that Atlus is readying a demo for Etrian Odyssey IV. It unfortunately doesn’t contain any details about the trial, nor does it say when it’ll be released. However, the pamphlet mentions that any progress made in the demo will carry over to the final retail game.

Etrian Odyssey IV launches in Japan on July 5, so the demo will probably be out before then.
