Braid Anniversary Edition sales

While we don’t have any specifics, it seems that the sales of Braid: Anniversary Edition have been disappointing across all platforms. Jonathan Blow, the game’s creator, has gone on record multiple times with updates about the performance.

About a week after launch in the middle of May, Blow wasn’t entirely sure what to make of the game’s sales yet, and pointed out how things like discounts would eventually come into play. A little more than a month later though, he mentioned how Braid “sold horribly” and “the future is uncertain.” Moving on to July 21, Blow said sales of Braid: Anniversary Edition “have been terrible, they’ve been utterly terrible”. Similar statements were again made on July 27.

ZPF

After seeing a great deal of successor on Kickstarter, ZPF will be making its way to Switch.

Mega Cat Studios actually started the campaign to release its title on the SEGA Genesis / Mega Drive. A modest $15,000 target was planned, but the total currently stands at over $200,000. Switch support was recently confirmed after a stretch goal was met.

A PEGI rating has suggested that Marvelous Europe Limited may be bringing BattleBrew Productions’ roguelite dungeon-crawler Cuisineer to Switch in Europe. The title released on Steam last year, and this is the first indicator that we’ve had that it may be coming to Nintendo’s console. At the moment it has not been rated by the ESRB, although it is likely that XSEED Games would pick up the North American release in the event that it released on Switch.

Here’s an overview of the game, which comes via its Steam page:
