Amber Isle release date set for October, new trailer

Amber Isle just got a final release date from Team17 and developer Ambertail Games. It launches on October 31, 2024, the two sides confirmed today.
Amber Isle, a dino-centric shop management sim, was revealed for Switch in April. Team17 was keeping quiet about launch timing, but now we know the game will be available before the end of the year.

Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines delayed to September

Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines has been pushed back, but thankfully it’s not a long delay. The title now launches on September 12, 2024.
Last we heard, Grapple Dogs: Cosmic Canines was coming on August 15. Super Rare Games did not provide a reason for the delay.
Gimmick 2 announced for Switch

June 20: The Gimmick franchise is back on Switch with the newly-announced Gimmick 2.
There’s not much to go on currently as only a teaser trailer was shown. The game acts as a sequel to Sunsoft’s NES original, and players can expect puzzle solving, exploration in a physics-based playground, and more.

Guayota release date set for August, new trailer

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Team Delusion today provided the release date for Guayota. On Switch, the game arrives digitally on August 13, 2024.
Guayota was originally announced for Switch at the end of May. The project was initially given a general 2024 launch window.

Europe’s best-selling games of June, first half of 2024

GSD data provides a look at the best-selling games across Europe in June 2024 as well as the first half of 2024. It’s based on data for all physical game releases in major markets plus digital game sales from most major publishers.
For June specifically, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD charted the highest out of new releases at #7, and that’s without digital data considered. Believe it or not, it was only 4,000 copies away from becoming the fastest-selling Switch game this year. Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door still holds that record. Note that Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD sold just under a third of what Luigi’s Mansion 3 achieved during its opening week in 2019.

June 26: Nintendo Switch Online is celebrating another new game release, and this time around, members can get their hands on new designs based on Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.
Just as we’re used to seeing, you can pick up characters, backgrounds, and frames. There’s the normal cost of 10 Platinum Points via My Nintendo for characters. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points each.
