SEGA shared a bit of additional information about Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds for Nintendo Switch 2 today, including confirmation that the game will contain the entire experience on its cartridge.

This is one of the rare titles on the console to be doing this. Thus far, most third-party publishers have opted to use game-key cards. This has drawn ire from fans as they’re not truly physical – you’re basically getting a blank cartridge as the game needs to be downloaded from the internet.

SEGA put out the latest Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds trailer today spotlighting the game’s customization and gadget features.

The racer will have 40+ vehicles, 70+ gadgets, and 100+ vehicle parts and decals. In all thousands of combinations will be available for players to customize the ultimate racing machine.
