Activision has sent out new information and screenshots pertaining to Guitar Hero Live. Today, we have more on the game’s Premium Shows.

Here’s the full breakdown:

Premium Shows are another example of how Activision and FreeStyleGames are bringing great new content to Guitar Hero Live. Whether it be playable concert footage, debut music videos and beyond, Premium Shows will give players a unique way to access some amazing gameplay experiences.

By completing various challenges, players will have a chance to play these Premium Shows to win in-game prizes based on the level of difficulty of the show. These prizes can include unique exclusive Note Highways or custom Player Cards that fans can use to show off to the Guitar Hero Live online community. It can also include Status rewards that help players level up faster or boosts that speed up the accumulation of in-game currency.

Black Veil Brides is the first Premium Show announced for Guitar Hero Live. In the gallery below, you can check out screenshots featuring live concert footage of the band.

Nintendo has released a short trailer for Super Mario Maker today. We’ve posted it below.

Badland: Game of the Year Edition is heading to the Wii U eShop next week. In order to download the game, you’ll need 171 MB of free space available. The title launches on July 30 in North America and Europe.

Fortune wrote up a report today on the ten best-selling games in the United States during the first half of 2015. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS made the list, taking the final spot.

In April, Nintendo announced that Super Smash Bros. for 3DS had sold a total of 2.4 million units in the United States. Super Smash Bros. for Wii U’s lifetime sales were at nearly 1.6 million.

Nintendo published another round of screenshots from Devil’s Third today. In addition to single-player, we also have a new look at multiplayer. Check out all of the new screenshots below.

Before yesterday, the Crunchyroll Wii U app could only be used by premium members. However, the app now supports all types of members, including those who aren’t paying for a subscription. That means you can watch free anime on Wii U – you’ll just need to watch some ads in between!

Siliconera has translated various information about the three different settings in 7th Dragon III Code: VFD. You’ll learn more about Tokyo, Atlantis, and Eden in the detailed summary below.

Tokyo (Present/Year UE77 – United Era):

– 80 years after the arrival of the Shinryu Dragon in the year 2020 and 2021
– The Japanese Government had virtually lost all of its power
– International self-defense force called ISDF is managing the peace and order
– The people are doing their best to revive the country that was in ruins after the fight with the dragon, but it hasn’t been enough
– They’re still doing their best to go back to the way things were before the invasion

Atlantis (Past):

– Takes place about 12,000 years prior
– In a world that exists in a different timeline
– An underwater kingdom was established using a special ore called “Star Crystal” that’s found under the Atlantic Ocean
– The people living there are from a special race called the Rushe
– They established what was considered a high plane of civilization at the time

Eden (Future):

– Takes place in a different timeline that takes place 5,000 years in the future
– Shows a different kind of progress had science, technology, and lifestyles took a different twist
– This is also where the first 7th Dragon game takes place
– 80% of the world is ruled by dragons.

PlayEveryWare has made a couple of big announcements pertaining to Elliot Quest.

First, the game’s next big update is due out on July 30. This will add the Miiverse Journal and Miiverse Stamps. PlayEveryWare will be celebrating the new update with a 15 percent discount in North America and Europe for two weeks following the release of the update.

Also revealed today is that Elliot Quest is coming to 3DS. We don’t have an exact date, but it should arrive sometime in 2016.
