Thanks to the Nindies@Home program announcement, we knew that Freedom Planet would be coming to the Wii U eShop in August. Now, however, we have a specific date. You can look forward to playing Freedom Planet on Wii U starting on August 3.

Nine indie demos have hit the North American and European Wii U eShops as part of the new “Nindies@Home” program. For the next week, players can try out games such as Runbow, RIVE, Soul Axiom, Freedom Planet, and more.
