Pokemon Legends: Z-A datamine reveals returning Pokemon and new Mega Evolutions for DLC

Pokemon Legends: Z-A has started to launch (at least in some regions), and now that the full game is here, we have a look at returning Pokemon and forms as well as Pokemon receiving new forms in the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC. This comes thanks to a new datamine.
It looks like Game Freak attempted to hide the information by scrubbing game text and hashing the contents. However, fans datamining the game were still able to figure it out.

ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition gets free Nintendo Switch 2 update

Today, Studio Wildcard and Grove Street Games announced a major update for ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition, which focuses on full backward-compatibility and performance enhancements on Nintendo Switch 2.
The patch features smoother gameplay with improved frame rate and higher resolution on the console. That’s along with upgraded shadow quality and anti-aliasing quality.

Munch Mobile is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch

Another Arcade Archives game is about to drop on Nintendo Switch, which is Munch Mobile. It’ll be out tomorrow, October 16.
Munch Mobile originally comes from Konami. The 1983 game has you playing as a car with arms as they pick up fuel and food.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A is coming with its own day one update, which is version 1.0.1. If you’ve pre-installed the game on either Nintendo Switch 2 or Switch, you should be able to access it already in time for launch this week.
The patch notes are straightforward but ultimately this is a pretty important update. Without it, it sounds like you won’t be able to access online functionality.

Nintendo has released a small update for Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, and starting today, players can access version 1.4.1. The update is the same for both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The patch merely fixes some issues, according to the company. However, specifics weren’t provided beyond that.
Pokemon Pokopia was initially a Nintendo Switch 1 game

New development information has come to light about Pokemon Pokopia, revealing that it was originally envisioned as a Nintendo Switch 1 game. Just like we’ve seen from other Pokemon leaks over the past few days, the details are coming from the Game Freak “Teraleak”.
The project first began in 2021 with the codename Oasis. At this point, Pokemon Pokopia was slated for Nintendo Switch 1. However, this isn’t the only piece of interesting information about the game’s history.

Nintendo is just a couple of days away from publishing Pokemon Legends: Z-A on Switch 2 and Switch, but before that happens, first reviews are starting to arrive. We have a roundup of some early verdicts.
Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the second “Legends” game following Arceus in 2022. Rather than going back in time in the Hisui region, we’re instead revisiting the modern day era of Lumiose City, which was previously featured in Pokemon X and Y. Various features are included such as Trainers and their Pokemon both moving around in real-time battles, new Mega Evolutions, Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokemon, the he Z-A Royale competition, and multiplayer battles.
