Switch 2

We’ll have to wait for an official announcement, but it looks like the final crossover DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has been revealed.

We actually have a pretty good idea about most of the DLC lineup. Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, Pac-Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and Avatar Legends have all been announced at this point. Everything was confirmed throughout the summer. That brings us to today’s potential leak – which we’ll be covering below, so keep that in mind before proceeding.

Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined visuals, story, features, characters, battle system

Square Enix just released the latest Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined details, covering the game’s visuals, story, features, characters, and battle system. This follows last week’s Nintendo Direct announcement.

Here’s the full rundown, as shared by Square Enix:

Devolver Digital has announced that its newest title, Skate Story, will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2 sometime in 2025. While a specific release date has not been confirmed, the game is officially on the way to Nintendo’s platform.

Developed solely by Sam Eng, Skate Story tells the tale of a glass demon forced to skate through the Underworld after making a deal with the devil. To break free from this pact, you’ll need to ride your board across nine layers of Hell, face off against massive bosses, and ultimately consume the Moon itself.

Hollow Knight Silksong difficulty

At the ACMI Game Worlds exhibition in Melbourne, Team Cherry’s Ari Gibson and William Pellen commented on the difficulty of Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Just like the series’ first game, Silksong has been getting a lot of love. But there have been a few discussion points, including the difficulty.

Gibson shared the following:

The Touryst Deluxe

August 18: The Touryst is making a return with a brand new Deluxe on Nintendo Switch 2. Shin’en just made the announcement, but is currently deciding on launch timing. We do know it will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 upon release.

The title previously came to Nintendo Switch. For the Deluxe release, Shin’en says it’s packing in new content, including a new island and monument, new items and quests, and improved graphics.

August 27: A new set of Nintendo Switch Online icons are now available Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which celebrates the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Designs were previously went live awhile back, though now fans can get their hands on the latest ones.

It’s the usual deal here. You can nab icons for characters, backgrounds, and frames. As we typically see, characters cost 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo. Backgrounds and frames are 5 Platinum Points each.

Not one, but two new games are inbound for Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Classics via Nintendo Switch Online with Klonoa Empire of Dreams and Mr. Driller 2 joining the service. Both arrive on September 25, 2025. A membership to the Expansion Pack tier of the service will be required.

Klonoa Empire of Dreams originally hit the GBA in 2001. Mr. Driller 2 debuted earlier, launching in 2000.
