Several new games out came out this week on the eShop. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a look at the gallery below.

Nintendo eShop

It wouldn’t be a holiday without some network overload, which is what seems to taking place with the Switch eShop at the moment. Nintendo says that it is “experiencing difficulties with our network services”.

The Switch eShop may take a few attempts to load, or it may not start up at all. We’ve also seen reports of users being unable to download games. If you make a purchase and it’s not appearing on the home menu, you can rest easy knowing that you’re not alone and it’s a temporary problem.

Nintendo is likely on the case and should be working on any and all issues. Hopefully it’ll all be fixed before too long.

Windbound

Windbound was updated on Switch this week, bringing the game to version 1.2.39400.349. It’s a notable patch, as players now have access to new Towers, a Free Sailing Mode, and Night Stalker items. There are plenty of improvements and bug fixes as well.
