Thanks to IGN, we have a new look at Windjammers 2 with some footage recorded at Gamescom this week. Check out the footage below.

During the Nintendo Direct back in February, Arc System Works revealed a new entry in the River City / Kunio-kun franchise coming to the Nintendo Switch in Japan, titled Downtown Rantou Koushinkyoku Mach!!, which is actually an enhanced version of  River City Melee: Battle Royal Special. Today, Arc System Works confirmed that the title will also be released in the West on the same day as in Japan: October 10. It’ll be available via the Nintendo eShop. We recently heard that Mistover will be launching for Switch in Japan on October 10. As it turns out, that date applies to the west as well. Krafton confirmed the news today.

Publisher HeroCraft and developer Nord Unit have dated the story-driven puzzler Hyperforma for Switch. It’ll launch digitally via the eShop on September 5, the two companies have announced.

According to an eShop listing, Moero Crystal Hyper is bringing Moero Crystal Hyper to Switch. A digital release is planned for September 5 in Japan. Pricing is set at 4,000, though it can be pre-loaded for 2,800 yen.

Moero Crystal, a dungeon-crawling RPG, was originally made for the PS Vita back in 2015. It never launched in the west, but given what we saw with Moero Chronicle Hyper, Idea Factory could be making an announcement soon.

Strikers 1999, otherwise known as Strikers 1945 III, will release in Japan next week, an eShop listing confirms. The arcade shoot ’em up launches on August 29 for 1,200 yen.

It’s unclear if Strikers 1999 will be made available in the west on the same day. That being said, English is supported, so fans can always purchase the game on the Japanese store.
