Magnet Jack

Blake Fix has confirmed that Magnet Jack is bound for Switch. The project does not currently have a launch window.

Magnet Jack was previously funded on Kickstarter. It’s an action-oriented puzzle-platformer with a top-down overworld, “off-the-wall themes and characters” and “a fast-changing assortment of wacky mechanics that’ll make you think and challenge your reflexes.” 

Bethesda Holiday 2023 Switch eShop sale Doom

For those that are interested in Bethesda’s lineup of Switch games, the publisher is currently running a sale on the eShop which includes the lowest price ever for Doom and more. There are other entries in the series that are discounted as well, along with Quake, The Elder Scrolls V, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Worlds of Aria

Worlds of Aria will be seeing release on Switch, publisher Ishtar Games and developer Ludogram have announced. Those that are interested in the game should be keeping an eye out for the launch later in 2024.

Worlds of Aria is a party based RPG inspired by tabletop experiences. You’ll be able to go through the whole thing by yourself, but there are also plans for local play plus online functionality – which will include cross-platform play.

Myth Caller: The Nightmare Shaman

Top Hat Studios and Karatkuro will release Myth Caller: The Nightmare Shaman on Switch, the two sides have confirmed. News about launch timing hasn’t been shared.

Myth Caller: The Nightmare Shaman mashes up two different genres. Not only is the game s 3D collectathon, but it’s also a monster-catching RPG with everything set in a semi-open world.

Chico and the Magic Orchards DX gameplay

Gameplay is in for Chico and the Magic Orchards DX, which was one of the few new games to land on the Switch eShop this week. 18 minutes of footage gives fans a look at the retro-handheld-inspired adventure title.

Anima Flux

The team behind Anima Flux has announced plans to release the game on Switch. Right now it’s on track to launch in Q4 2024.

Anima Flux, a co-op Metroidvania game, features a pair of genetically enhanced soldiers who’ll need to fight through swarms of mutants in a desolate, dystopian space city and save humanity’s last stronghold. More information can be found in the following overview:

Dome-King Cabbage preview

“My first memory is of a toy… at least, I think it is.” Those are among the first words uttered in Dome-King Cabbage, a surreal visual novel that has a wholly unique sense of style unlike anything else in the genre. Created by solo developer Joe Buchholz (also known as Cobysoft Joe), Dome-King Cabbage feels like the type of strange, psychedelic project that could only come from the indie scene, and has quickly become one of my most anticipated indies.

Skul The Hero Slayer sales

Skul: The Hero Slayer has surpassed two million copies in sales, Neowiz and Southpaw Games announced today. That milestone is based on the performance from all platforms combined worldwide.
