Wii U eShop

Several new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a peak at the gallery below.

Nitrolic Games and Mudvark are bringing Mortar Melon to the North American Wii U eShop on August 20.

In the game, players will be firing watermelons out of cannons through a bunch of different levels. Included is a challenge mode, Miiverse support (including stamps), and online leaderboards.

Super Icon has determined a European release date for Life of Pixel. It will be out on August 27 via the eShop, the developer has announced.

The first footage of The Bridge on Wii U is now available for viewing. Check it out in the video below.

Update (8/13): Bumped to the top. Woah Dave! will support the GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Remote, and Classic Controller.


Original (8/12): Choice Provisions has determined a final release date for Woah Dave! on Wii U. Today, the company announced that the game will be available on the eShop starting on August 20.

Woah Dave! will make full use of cross-buy. If you purchased it previously on 3DS, the Wii U version will be free.

The Bridge will be included in the lineup of games for the Wii U eShop next week. For those that are curious, the download clocks in at 292MB. It will be available in both North America and Europe on August 20.

XSEED published Pandora’s Tower in North America when the game originally came out on Wii. However, it turns out that the company was not involved with the new digital version on Wii U today.

With Wind-up Knight 2 releasing on the North American Wii U eShop today, a launch trailer is now available. Watch the video below.

We received confirmation earlier this week that The Bridge is slated for the North American Wii U eShop on August 20. But we now know that the European release is set for the same day. The game’s official Twitter account told one fan that it will arrive on August 20 in both regions.
