Kirby Air Riders has no DLC planned, not planned as an ongoing series

Kirby Air Riders director Masahiro Sakurai closed out the game’s second Direct presentation today with a few general comments, including confirmation that he’s not planning DLC.
There’s always the chance that things could change in the future. However, at least right now, don’t expect DLC for Kirby Air Riders. Sakurai also said that he’s “not planning on making this an ongoing series.” It sounds like he went all out in making the Nintendo Switch 2 title.

Kirby Air Riders Online Test Ride event announced

As part of today’s Kirby Air Riders Direct 2 presentation, we’ve now learned that a Global Test Ride event is happening.
If you have a Nintendo Switch 2 system and are a Switch Online member, you’ll be able to try the game for free. Demo event software will be available via the Nintendo eShop.

The Kirby Air Riders Direct 2 is being held today, and for those looking to tune in, we have the official live stream. It’ll start at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in Europe.
Believe it or not, the Kirby Air Riders Direct 2 will be even longer than the first at around an hour. Director Masahiro Sakurai will be sharing the latest information about the Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive once again.

Back to the Dawn release date and limited edition revealed, new trailer

Clouded Leopard Entertainment has just announced the release date for Back to the Dawn, as well as a limited edition bundle. The title is set to launch for both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on March 5, 2026.
The standard physical Nintendo Switch version will come on a cartridge, with the Switch 2 edition releasing on a game key card. The limited edition will include a physical copy of its respective platform, an exclusive acrylic diorama stand, two pins, a digital art book and soundtrack on, “Supporter Pack” DLC, and an exclusive “Original Item” DLC, all in a box with a special illustration. If you get a first print copy of either edition, you will also receive a microfiber cloth with an illustration, and a prison skin exclusive to the Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 versions of the game.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond boss fight leaked in unlisted Nintendo Switch 2 ads

Two Nintendo Switch 2 ads have surfaced showing unreleased gameplay footage for the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. Famiboards user BackwardsCompat posted the video links on the website earlier today.
Both ads only run at 15 seconds long, with there also being a Youtube Shorts version of each one. These ads are also more centered around the Nintendo Switch 2 rather than the upcoming title, therefore they don’t show very much aside from an unseen boss. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is only a month and a half away from its release, so we should be expecting these ads to be going public soon in tandem with the holiday season.

The latest news about Marvel Cosmic Invasion is in, as Iron Man and Phoenix have now been confirmed and we have the release date.
Iron Man and Phoenix fill out the remaining parts of the roster. Both were previously leaked as part of a datamine of the game’s demo. Beta Ray Bill, Black Panther, Captain America, Cosmic Ghost Rider, Nova, Phyla-Vell, Rocket Raccoon, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, Storm, Silver Surfer, Venom, and Wolverine will also be playable.

Best-selling games of September 2025 in the U.S. on Nintendo platforms

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of September 2025 specifically on Nintendo platforms.
While it’s technically an October game, Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 actually comes out on top since the reporting period ends on October 4. Other new games include Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles at #2 and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds at #4.
