Raidou Remastered getting a collector’s edition from Limited Run Games

With just a few months to go before the launch of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army on Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games announced on X that a collector’s edition of the game is on the way. Pre-orders will be open from May 5 through June 1.
The collector’s edition will include the base game, a 10″ x 7″ lithograph, a steelbook, a Raidou Kuzunoha statue, a special soundtrack, and more. You can check out an image of the edition above. Note that the Nintendo Switch 2 version includes a game-key card.

A fourth Capcom Fighting Collection 2 spotlight trailer has come in, and today, we have a closer look at Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro and Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001.
Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, a head-to-head crossover fighter, naturally launched in 2000 as the title implies. Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 came in the following year.

Later this week, Darkest Dungeon 2’s second paid DLC Inhuman Bondage and the first Kingdoms module Hunger of the Beast Clan will be available on Nintendo Switch. Both are planned for May 1, 2025.

April 23: FuRyu has just announced Varlet, a high school RPG slated to hit Nintendo Switch on August 28, 2025.
Varlet takes place in Kousei Academy, the first school to implement a social networking system known as Johari. But Johari has been causing users to disappear, and replacing them with monsters.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes. For the first time, Nintendo Switch 2 titles are on the list including Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Kirby Air Riders. Rhythm Heaven Groove is also here, by the way.

If you’re deep into the Nintendo discourse sphere online, you might sometimes hear people say “Kirby has no bad games”. And to an extent, that’s definitely true – Kirby’s highs and lows aren’t as far apart compared to other Nintendo franchises. But is it really true that Kirby doesn’t have any bad games? A “bad game” could mean something different depending on who you talk to. It could mean that the game isn’t fun to play, or it could mean that the game is poor by Kirby standards, but not terrible objectively.
Regardless, today we’re looking at some of the less-loved entries in the Kirby series to see how they hold up today. One thing is true: Kirby doesn’t have any bad main series games. Even Kirby Star Allies, which is regarded as one of the weaker recent titles, isn’t bad – it’s inoffensive at worst. In other words, the Kirby games we’re talking about today aren’t main series games, but the smaller ones that tend to fly under the radar.
