Poncho saw its initial launch on platforms like Steam a few days ago. While we’re still waiting on the Wii U eShop release, we can at least see what the final product looks like in the video below.

Temple of Yog is a game about human sacrifice, it’s a tightly controlling roguelike temple crawler, and it just might be the sleeper hit of the fall for the Wii U eShop. I had a chance to play the game and talk with lead designer Cody Diefenthaler at IndieCade Festival 2015.

Temple of Yog is, at its core, a top-down dungeon crawler with a colorful and detailed pixel art style. The controls are relatively simple – left stick to move, right stick to aim and attack. But things get interesting when you begin to encounter the multiple interconnected systems that add a tremendous amount of gameplay potential to the experience.

Several new games out came out this week on the Wii U and 3DS eShops. If you’re interested in checking out what’s new in screenshot form, take a peak at the gallery below.

Daedalic Entertainment’s Fire appears to be bound for Wii U. A listing for the game popped up on the USK, hinting at an upcoming release.

Fire features a mix of exploration-adventure gameplay and puzzles. In the game, players are given the simple task of journeying through the Stone Age and finding fire.

Check out a trailer for Fire below. You’ll also find a lengthy overview after the break.

The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy’s Grand Adventure arrived earlier this week. You can purchase it at retail, or you can pick up the game digitally from the eShop. Those who opt for the latter option on Wii U will need just over 1.3GB of space.
