Astral Breakers is coming to the Wii U eShop, indie developer Intropy Games has announced. The action-puzzle game is scheduled to launch in June.

Below is a brief overview:

The Zodiac Constellations have gone berserk, putting the entire cosmos in jeopardy. Out of options, the cantankerous Kira the Star is forced to recruit none other than you to help put things back in order.

Choose from any of the twelve Signs of the Zodiac and start fighting for the future of the cosmos in an epic sphere-splitting, breaker-bashing, combo-crushing puzzle battle!

In Astral Breakers, players are tasked with filling their opponent’s playfield with Astral Spheres. This is done by destroying Spheres on their own playfield using Breakers, which sends them to the opposition. Victory is achieved when the opponent’s playfield is full.

Intropy Games is also including a Super Nova mode. Here players “work together to prevent an exploding star from dropping metric tons of spheres on BOTH players’ fields”. It’s also possible to create unique Zodiac Signs in the Custom Zodiac mode.

Here’s the full rundown of Astral Breakers’ features:

A fully-featured action puzzle drop game for one or two players.
Challenge the AI in a head-to-head battle, or help Kira save the cosmos in Story Mode.
Battle a friend in Versus mode.
Choose from 12 different Zodiac Signs, each with unique properties.
Create your own Zodiac Sign complete with customized name and attack pattern.
Team up in the cooperative SuperNova mode.

Q.U.B.E: Director’s Cut was confirmed for Wii U back in April 2013. It’s been nearly two years, but the game still hasn’t launched on the eShop. So what’s going on?

We reached out to Toxic Games recently, and the studio’s Dan Da Rocha told us that Q.U.B.E “has taken longer than expected”. However, the team is “on track to release April/May time across all consoles (apart from 360).” Only a few more months!

Indie developer Edrox Interactive has revealed a new project for Wii U titled “Bizerta: Silent Evil”. This horror game started out as a PlayStation Vita/PS Mobile game, but will now be heading to Nintendo’s console instead.

Just a few details have been made known thus far. We know that players will roam through a a disheveled mansion with a flashlight as they confront panic inducing gameplay elements. Additionally, there are plans to mix both horror and puzzle elements into one experience.

Check out some images from Bizerta: Silent Evil below.
