Two Tribes has put out three classic games on Wii U thus far: Toki Tori, RUSH, and EDGE. One more re-release appears to be on the way, based on a new tweet from the studio.

Earlier today, Two Tribes said on Twitter that it will reveal “a new classic coming to Wii U soon.”

During a recent Mighty No. 9 podcast, Inti Creates tackled a fan question about game development. Takuya Aizu, president and CEO of the studio, handled the response.

Wii U eShop

Three new Virtual Console games are on track for the Japanese Wii U eShop next week. Tactics Ogre (Super Famicom), Volleyball (Famicom), and Bonk’s Revenge (PC Engine) will be out on March 12. Pricing is set at 800 yen, 500 yen, and 600 yen respectively.

Arc System Works is releasing two more eShop games in Japan next week. Okiraku Fishing 3D will be available for 3DS while Okiraku Tennis SP is coming to Wii U. Both are expected on March 12.

Arkedo co-founder Aurelien Regard is currently working on “The Next Penelope”. It’s a retro racing title that seems to take inspiration from the likes of F-Zero.

The Next Penelope is being built with the Construct 2 engine, which the Wii U supports. Wouldn’t that make it a perfect fit for the eShop? At the very least, Regard appears to be interested…

BNC Design Studios has confirmed its new game “Gemology” for Wii U. The Unity-based, falling block puzzle project will be released on the eShop sometime in the future.

Gemology will offer “extensive DLC”. This includes online multiplayer for one game mode, a stage builder, leaderboards, and support for Miis. Those who are among the early buyers will receive all extra content for free.
