A few Puzzles & Dragons Z details have escaped this month’s CoroCoro. The magazine mentions that the game will include 3DS-exclusive drops that result in a big explosion when cleared, and there are over 200 monsters to collect. A release is planned for winter in Japan.
Sunbreak Games launched a Kickstarter for Buddy & Me in March. After receiving requests from Nintendo fans as well as journalists, the indie dev has now added in a Wii U version to the campaign as a stretch goal. Buddy & Me will officially come to the Wii U eShop if Sunbreak manages to raise $55,000 on Kickstarter.
A wise man once said, “don’t ever forget where you came from.” For the past few weeks, I’ve received a flood of questions and comments from journalists and Nintendo fans from the Metroid Prime days, asking whether or not we would consider a Nintendo version. The game’s characters and play would be a great fit in the Nintendo world, and the touch-screen gameplay would lend itself well to the Wii U’s unique controller. But most importantly, I’ve felt really touched at how enthusiastic and appreciative these loyal fans have been to reach out, to talk about how much those games meant to them, and remind me of some of the most inspiring and influential times of my career. Guys and gals, this one’s for you: We’ve added Wii U eShop support as an official Stretch Goal, at the $55,000 funding mark!
Getting to that mark may be difficult. Only $14,000 has been raised out of the desired $40,000 total, and only a week remains for fundraising.
But hey, now that Nintendo fans are aware that Buddy & Me has a strong shot of heading to the Wii U, perhaps we’ll see a big rise in contributions.
Namco Bandai is keeping all mainline Tales entries on the PlayStation 3 for the time being. That’s because the franchise’s “main target audience” lies within the system.
Tales series producer Hideo Baba has already praised the Wii U, calling it “brilliant“. Therefore, “if it becomes more and more successful in the future”, Baba can see an entry possibly landing on the Wii U.
Baba told Destructoid:
“Our main target audience for the Tales franchise is still ultimately Japan, so when we make a game we want to target our main fanbase. So we like the idea of the Wii U — we think it’s a great system — and if it becomes more and more successful in the future that’s a console we would like to tap eventually, but for the time being we don’t have any plans and we are focused on maintaining our fanbase on PlayStation 3. It’s not really about our opinions on whether or not it’s a good system; ultimately it becomes a question of, ‘What consoles do our fans have?'”
Best Buy Canada teased a new game reveal through its Canadian Reward Zone Gamers Club Twitter account on Monday. That turned out to be Batman: Arkham Origins. Today, the retailer is teasing yet another gaming announcement.
Best Buy just wrote on Twitter:
Another big gaming announcement Monday! Any Gamers Club members have any ideas what it could be? #RZGC

Given that the first tease turned out to be related to a brand new game, Best Buy is probably teasing something similar here. FIFA 14? Something else?
What do you guys think?
