Namco Bandai has two games in development for the 3DS. Along with One Piece: Unlimited World Red, One Piece: Romance Dawn is also on the way.
One Piece: Romance Dawn was released on the PSP in Japan late last year. A scan from Jump lists an August 8 release date for the 3DS version.
Earlier today, EA announced the next entry in the Need for Speed franchise – Need for Speed: Rivals. Unfortunately, there are no plans to bring the game to the Wii U at this time.
Ghost Games’ founder and Rivals producer Marcus Nilsson told Eurogamer that “Frostbite is not really set up for Wii U.” EA confirmed in its announcement that the racer is being built on the Frostbite 3 engine.
“Yeah, Frostbite is not really set up for Wii U. I don’t have all the information, so it wouldn’t be right for me to speak about it. Frostbite 3 is a really capable engine, it’s scalable and it gives us a big advantage on the next generation to support the Xbox One and the PS4, but it’s not being developed on the Wii U.”
A shame that we won’t be seeing this one on Wii U. You could argue that Most Wanted was best on Nintendo’s system last year out of all console versions, so it would have been nice to see how Rivals turned out.
Marvelous USA, otherwise known as XSEED, announced its E3 2013 lineup today.
A total of five games will be brought to the expo, not counting mobile titles. Killer is Dead, Ragnarok Odyssey Ace, Rune Factory 4, Valhalla Knights 3, and Ys: Memories of Celceta will be on hand.
