The video above is probably better than any one taken by Nintendo in previous years. There’s some direct-feed footage of the F-Zero mini-game from Nintendo Land and more.
I really hate having to write these types of articles. I love Nintendo and it pains me to have to talk so badly of them. But seriously. Come on. The other press conferences this year were as follows:
Microsoft: Bombed.
Sony: Eh.
EA: Terrible.
Ubisoft: Average.
This wasn’t a tough scenario. Nintendo should have been ready to blow this one out of the park. It was a fastball straight down the middle. It was a perfect storm of awesome that had the potential to send chills down the spines of every gamer watching. Instead of going for the home run though, they apparently decided to fake getting hit by the pitch and hobbled along to first base, managing to barely keep the game going, and build little if any hype for the next at-bat.
The ultimate multiplayer experience for the Wii U!

enemies. Wii U specific features make TANK! TANK! TANK! the best battle party game for the whole family!
Not much to say here… it looks like the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC versions!
Activision has zero games officially announced for Wii U. That’s sort of mind-blowing.
On the bright side, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg did confirm to Spike TV earlier today that Skylanders Giants is coming to the platform. Other titles weren’t announced beyond this. So we still don’t know if Call of Duty: Black Ops II or any of the company’s other games will be coming to the Wii U in the future.
If you view the video above (skip to 2:30), you can listen to Hirshberg express some excitement over Wii U and dodged some questions about the console’s online functionality.
North American 3DS owners can download today’s E3 2012 trailer of New Super Mario Bros. 2 from the eShop. There are also streaming videos for LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, Heroes of Ruin, and Transformers Prime.
On the Wii U side of things, you can view videos of the following:
Nintendo Direct: June 3, 2012
Batman Arkham City: Armored Edition
Just Dance 4
Scribblenauts Unlimited
ZombiU
Rayman Legends
Assassin’s Creed III
Tank! Tank! Tank!
