News regarding Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two continues to pour in. Platforms have been confirmed along with co-op gameplay, voice overs, camera improvements, and more.

If you’re playing as a single player, Oswald will be there every second of the game. He’s not just a multiplayer character. He’s a helper, whether you’re playing alone or with a friend or family member.”
“We couldn’t ask people to care about this guy (Oswald) they’ve never heard of or no one has ever seen since 1928 in a Disney film. It was unrealistic to expect people to care in the first game, but now we know they care. We hear about it from players all the time. They really, really got into Oswald, which is hugely gratifying. ”
“We’ve had a team working on the camera from literally the day we finished the first game. They’ll be working on it until the day we ship the second game. (There have been) over 1,000 specific changes made to the camera. Our goal is that you will not have to touch the manual camera controls even once to play through the main story path of this game.”

Update: Since the platforms for Epic Mickey 2 have now been confirmed, it’s unclear as to what Keighley intended when he said “next gen”. Was he simply referring to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360? And what about that 3DS rumor? There are still many unanswered questions!
Epic Mickey: The Power of Two will surely be made available for the Wii, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. However, it seems that Junction Point Studios is also bringing the game to at least one next-gen system.
When asked which platforms Epic Mickey 2 is being made for, GTTV’s Geoff Keighley said, “It’s on next gen too!”
I guess this means that a Wii U version is pretty much a lock…
Epic Mickey 2 has been confirmed – to the surprise as no one. As predicted, GameTrailers TV will be debuting the first trailer and gameplay footage of the title.

“Tomorrow night, world premiere of Disney Epic Mickey: The Power of Two on GTTV on Spike. Trailer + tons of game footage with Warren Spector!”
Details about the project haven’t arrived as of yet, but players can expect co-op, an improved camera, and more voice acting based on previous comments from Junction Point’s Warren Spector.
Epic Mickey: The Power of Two is likely in development for Wii (and possibly Wii U), PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. A 3DS spinoff is also rumored.

The impressive lineup includes top acts from a variety of musical genres, and features the stunning 3D video for The Shins’ “The Rifle’s Spiral” track.
