On this week’s episode: Nintendo at GDC, including Spirit Camera: The Cursed Memoir, Mario Tennis Open, Kid Icarus: Uprising, an interview with Resident Evil: Revelations producer Masachika Kawata, and eShop games.

So this is a little bit awkward. Junction Point’s Warren Spector has opened up on improvements he would make to Epic Mickey, but we all know a sequel is on the way – and it should be announced next week. Spector says he would improve the game’s camera, would bring it to additional platforms, and would include co-op and full voice acting. Two of these points were mentioned in a newsletter distributed by Disney.

Spector also revealed that Epic Mickey “was the best-selling single-platform game the company has ever done” and once again expresses interest in making a new DuckTales game (as well as a Marvel title).

The first Metal Gear game hit store shelves in 1987. Since then, the series has gone on to sell 31 million copies around the world, Konami has confirmed. This number accounts for every Metal Gear title sold up to December 31, 2011.
