In October, ex-Capcom director Keiji Inafune announced his first original project after leaving the company. It was revealed that his new studio, Intercept, has been working on a new 3DS title named “King of Pirates”.
We’ve been waiting for some concrete details on the project, as well as an actual in-game trailer. Thankfully, we may not have to wait much longer for new information.
Marvelous AQL lists the game as “playable” for next week’s Jump Festa event in Japan. Hopefully this means King of Pirates will be seeing a proper blowout soon. If not, we’ll at least find out how the game plays!
