Nintendo is sending out SpotPass notifications to 3DS Ambassadors that the ten free Game Boy Advance games will hit the eShop this Friday. They’ve also announced the full lineup of games that will be included in this part of the program.

The complete list is as follows:

F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi’s Island
Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Kirby & The Amazing Mirror
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Metroid Fusion
Wario Land 4
WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames

The SpotPass notifications have been spotted in both Europe and Japan, so I assume that the GBA titles will also be available on Friday for North American Ambassadors as well.

Limited Edition copies of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword include a gold Wiimote Plus. They do not, however, come with a matching gold nunchuck.

If you want the complete experience, you’ll need to be a member of Club Nintendo Japan. That’s right: Nintendo is now offering a gold nunchuck for 600 points. You can pick up the reward for 200 points less if you’ve registered a copy of Zelda: Skyward Sword (offer ends February 20).

In other Club Nintendo news, a 3DS case has been added to the site. It can be yours for 150 points. The case holds up to eighteen games.

Namco Bandai’s Masaya Kobayashi has revealed that Ridge Racer could have been made for Wii. However, Kobayashi believed that the console’s demographic consisted more of casual gamers, so he conducted some research and told the company that making a family title would be a wiser decision.

Kobayashi said:

“After making three Ridge Racer titles, my team was asked to make a new title for the Wii. They didn’t specify to make a new IP – in fact I think the company was probably asking me to make a Ridge Racer for it! But I thought that if it was for the Wii, the target audience is obviously different so I didn’t want to make a Ridge Racer for the Wii.

“Since it was the first time we made a game for the platform, we had to get some research data – when we looked into it, we realised that the target audience for the console was families. So rather than make a really hardcore game, we wanted to make a family-based game. I told the executives that if we were doing a Wii title than Family Ski would go down better. I presented my research, and the bosses trusted me to go ahead with it.”

It’s up to Pikachu and his Pals—Oshawott, Snivy, and Tepig—and their unique abilities, to make it through PokéPark, save the missing Pokémon, and discover the secrets of a mysterious new world.

Along the way, Pikachu and his Pals encounter and befriend many Pokémon from the Unova region and beyond who will help Pikachu along the way.

Experience the fun of activities, battles, Attractions, and more on your quest! Plus, you can enjoy Attractions in single player mode, or challenge family and friends in multiplayer mode. Use the Wii Remote™ controller in all sorts of ways when playing Attractions, boss battles, and more.

On Friday, I’ll finally have some free time. That means a new Game Night is on the way!

Since Mario Kart 7 came out earlier this month, I think it’d be best if we focused on that game for the entire night. We could sneak in some other titles as well, but Mario Kart 7 will most likely take up most of the evening.

I’ll post more information on Friday, including NE’s Mario Kart 7 community code. It should be a fun night, so hopefully those of you who’ve purchased the game will stop by!

Following yesterday’s tease, Atlus USA has posted a new clue for the mystery game announcement on their Facebook page. I’m really starting to get the feeling here that this is for Growlanser or Gungnir…

Both are PSP games, so I think we’ll stop coverage on this from here on out. You can find further updates about this tease on our sister site in the future.
