Thanks to Jake for the tip!

I don’t know how much Nintendo news Konami will offer at their “pre-E3” show tonight. I imagine Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D will be there in some form, and possibly this new Frogger title and other games. Regardless of how many Nintendo-related titles are shown, though, I have a feeling that you guys will want to tune into the live stream.

Those of you who were fortunate enough to watch Konami’s E3 2010 presser are aware of how downright amusing it was. It didn’t seem as though they had planned anything intentionally, but one speaker after another provided memorable quotes that are still used to this day. Even though I don’t see how Konami can possibly top their conference from last year, at least Tak Fujii will be there!

So stay tuned for the amazing (hopefully) show, and keep checking back on the site for any Nintendo news from the conference.

Kid Icarus: Uprising producer Masahiro Sakurai has posted a photo of his E3 2011 badge on his Twitter account. While that alone probably isn’t much to get excited about, it does hint that a reveal for Zelda’s 25th anniversary is imminent. The badge also, expectedly, has a Skyward Sword theme, so that title will definitely be making an appearance as well.

Yesterday, Eiji Aonuma said that he’d be making an announcement about the franchise at E3. However, it isn’t clear if he implied that it’ll be specifically about a new game, or something else entirely.

We’ll only have to wait a few days longer to find out what Nintendo has in store for the series’ anniversary.
