Gamers can get a first taste of Resident Evil: Revelations in June. That’s because Capcom will be bundling a demo of the title with The Mercenaries 3D. The company did not say what to expect in the demo, though it’s definitely a nice little pack-in. Additional details about Revelations will be shared at E3.

“Purchasers of Resident Evil™: The Mercenaries 3D, scheduled for release in the coming months, will get a taste of the horror to come thanks to the addition of a playable demo of Resident Evil™ Revelations. Set on board an ocean liner, the demo lets players take control of one of the full game’s characters, Jill Valentine, as she explores the ship’s dark interior, killing any mysterious creatures that emerge from the shadows. A brand new title built from the ground up for the Nintendo 3DS, further details on Resident Evil™ Revelations will be revealed at this year’s E3.” – Capcom PR

This week, players of any age are invited to check out new demo versions of games for the WiiWare™ service – one offering competitive darts challenges, the other giving preschoolers a fun way to learn by interacting with baby animals. For the Nintendo DSiWare™ service, there’s a new version of a classic card game, plus a wild new photo-manipulation game that can turn an ordinary face into something eerie and outrageous. The wide selection of downloadable games for Nintendo systems truly has something for everyone.

Edit: What do you guys think? Best video thumbnail of me ever?

I just wanna say that I’m very sorry if I missed out on your questions in this particular video! I’ll be doing a more proper ‘That One Show Episode 9B’ tomorrow (since this isn’t really “normal” of me) to get everything I missed and do more of my normal antics instead of strictly srs 3DS talk. Ask any more questions you may have about the system, and I’ll have them answered tomorrow!

Now, I’m very tired so I’m off to bed. See you all in a few hours!

The way I figure, not everyone here was able to get a 3DS right on launch day, and I’m sure those of you who didn’t have your reasons. If you’re still on the fence about whether or not to buy the system, and you have some questions about how good something is or how bad it is, or whether the system does something you want it to do, I’d love for you to ask those questions in the comments section of this post!

I’m putting up ‘That One Show – Episode 9’ tonight, and I’d love to answer any questions for you along with footage of me doing it/showing you it as proof. Now, I don’t have any games yet, but if you have any questions about the system itself, I think I’ve done enough rummaging around in the depths of the menu/pack-in games to answer them!

If you have any non-3DS questions for me, feel free to ask them as well!

If you weren’t able to pick up a 3DS for one reason or another today, you may just have another chance at winning one: Our (new) friends over at Waze e-mailed me today to let me know that they’re running a contest where iPhone and Android players can play a sort of “real life” Mario Kart via an app, which thereby leads them to a chance to win a 3DS of their very own.

Check out their blog for official rules and more info!
