“It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise. So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time. I am really hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version. I hope that we can show you something at the E3 show next year and it is something we are hopeful will be surprising.” – Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma
Well, this news may be just what the doctor ordered! I feel like many Zelda fans aren’t satisfied how the series never really changes, but Zelda Wii looks like it’ll be mixing things up a bit. I really can’t wait to see what the game looks like now!

Last week, Famitsu published an article on their website, which stated that a new Lufia game is in development. The only question was, which platform is the game being created for? We’re waiting for some concrete gameplay details at the moment, but we’ll add them to this post very soon. In the meantime, you can check out the first scans of the title above

Famitsu has an interesting piece of news besides Phoenix Wright WiiWare. According to the magazine, some sort of No More Heroes game is in development for the PS3/360. This means, of course, that the series will no longer be exclusive to Wii. It’s unclear, however, if the first game is being ported to the other consoles or if this is an original game.
Update: First details added below:
-December 15
-Wii version of GS/PW 1 releasing on Wiiware for 900 Points
-2 releasing on January 26, and 3 releasing February 23, both for 1200 points
-Additional scenario (5th case) coming on March 16 for 300 points
Rumors of Phoenix Wright heading to WiiWare started not too long ago, when a rating was discovered from the USK. Today, Famitsu has confirmed the news. We’ve posted the first scan, but details haven’t come in just yet. However, we’ll keep you all up-to-date with the first details when they arrive.
Cammie Dunaway on the stalling sales of Wii…
“Let’s talk about the U.S., and let’s break it down into the separate platforms. So, speaking first about the Wii–what’s important to understand is that in 2008, we sold 10 million units of the Wii, which was a record for any console ever in history. And so it’s a high mark.
What’s also important to understand is that the pacing of our software this year was quite different than it was in 2008. In 2008, our big titles were released early in the year. And this year’s huge title, released a few weeks ago in October, Wii Fit Plus, is doing quite well. And then arguably, the largest title of the year, New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii, only releases Sunday [November 15]. So we believe that going into the holiday season, consumers will continue to look for the products they see as representing the best value and the most fun…”
