Update: Translation below:
This weapon is called the ‘Splaroller’. Since its main feature is painting while moving forward, it’s easy to think of it as a close-range-only weapon, but by flicking it, you can hit enemies at a mid distance. Learning to balance painting and flicking is crucial for this weapon.
We have obtained footage of the Splaroller in action. Watching this should give you a good impression of what it’s like to move around while using this weapon.
Today’s Splatoon image brings with it another video snippet of the game too!
Third generation legendary Kyogre is now available for capture in Pokémon Shuffle when you check in. This special event to catch Kyogre will last until March 23rd, so get it while there’s still time!
Another thing to note, since the launch of Pokémon Shuffle, we’ve had a previous event in which you could catch Mew for the first three weeks following Pokémon Shuffle’s release, but it seems as though the chance to catch Mew has now been prolonged by two weeks. If you haven’t been able to catch Mew yet, now you have another shot!
Daan (who was kind enough to join me once again!) and I talk about a few pieces of Nintendo news from this past week, including some new eShop games, Xenoblade Chronicles X Battle Presentation, Rodea’s Wii bonus, and amiibo.
As a small treat, we’ve left in my initially-botched intro. That was embarrassing!
And please do let us know if you want to see more of these weekly Just a Chats! Your comments will help us decide whether or not to continue with them in the future.
KnapNok Games is back with the second entry in our Weekly Screenshot feature for Affordable Space Adventures. Following last week’s loading screen, we’re now focusing on the game’s variety of environments.
Here’s the image description from KnapNok:
Not everything in space has to be dark and gloomy. In Affordable Space Adventures players will also get to visit some truly wonderful landscapes. We’ve put a lot of effort into making sure that each area of the game feels clearly distinguishable from each other. The feeling of constantly exploring new areas will definitely be there throughout the entire adventure!
By the way, did you hear that Affordable Space Adventures now has a release date? The game launches on April 9!
Since our Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D giveaway worked out so well, we’re offering one more freebie on Twitter. You can win yourself a lovely Rosalina amiibo by following us and re-tweeting this post. We’ll choose one winner next Saturday. This giveaway is open to all regions.
We’ll get back to normal site giveaways soon. This latest one will be the final one on Twitter for a bit!
