Bandai Namco has confirmed that a day-one patch will be offered for My Hero: One’s Justice. Once installed, players will have access to Arcade Mode. Here players can experience a ladder-style tournament where they’ll compete against several CPU opponents. By completing the mode with different characters, you’ll get an exclusive item.
Bandai Namco also recapped pre-order bonuses for North America. Reserve the game to access Endeavor as a playable character, who will also be available to purchase as paid DLC. Endeavor has his own missions that can be purchased as well. Finally, Deku Shoot Style can be downloaded as a free playable character at launch.

It took a few months longer than originally expected, but Dark Souls: Remastered has finally arrived on Switch. Digital Foundry has taken a closer look at the game from a technical perspective in a new video published today.
One thing to keep in mind is that Dark Souls for Switch is based on the last-gen version. That means it doesn’t feature the higher frame rate as the newer PlayStation 4 / Xbox One editions or their visual improvements. As Digital Foundry describes it, Dark Souls on Switch is the “authentic” version presented as it was many years ago.

Katamari Damacy’s prototype was initially made on the GameCube

The Katamari Damacy series started way back in 2004. For the first time, the franchise is appearing on a Nintendo console with Katamari Damacy Reroll in December. Interestingly, the IP has some ties to Nintendo platforms in its earliest days.
As revealed in a new book from L. E. Hall due out this week, the prototype for Katamari Damacy was developed on the GameCube. This was due to “Nintendo’s developer-friendly outreach and the released specs for the PS2 indicating it would be a difficult path for even experienced game developers”. Even though creator Keita Takahashi wanted it on the PlayStation 2, Katamari Damacy may not have happened without the GameCube.
