Wildfrost "Fixes and Tinkers" update

The next Wildfrost update, “Fixes and Tinkers”, has just gone live on Switch. This is also known as version 1.0.5.

A bunch of stuff is included in today’s update. It includes balancing and effect changes, an improved tutorial, turn order viewer, battle-specific map icons, skippable treasure, and bug fixes.

Wildfrost has received a new update, version 1.0.5.

The patch includes card balancing, a new turn order viewer, and improved tutorials. As usual, there are bug fixes as well.

Wildfrost gameplay

Chucklefish brought Wildfrost to Switch this week, and we have a lengthy batch of gameplay. 40 minutes of footage shows off the tactical roguelike deckbuilder.

Wildfrost release date

Thanks to Chucklefish, Deadpan Games, and Gaziter, we have a release date for Wildfrost. It’s been confirmed that the tactical roguelike deckbuilder is heading to Switch on April 12, 2023.

Chucklefish originally announced Wildfrost for Switch last May. It was initially planned for the fall, but the project ended up seeing a delay.

Wargroove 2

Chucklefish, in partnership with Robotality, has announced Wargroove 2, a sequel to its turn-based tactics game. A release window has not yet been shared, but it’ll be on Switch in the future.

Wargroove builds on the 2019 game with new features. One new feature is Conquest, a roguelike single-player game mode with permanent choices. There’ll also be a new story set three years after Queen Mercia and her allies were defeated.

Eastward Collector's Edition

When Eastward landed on Switch last year, it was accompanied by a physical version – but only in Japan. Now, however, Chucklefish and Pixpil have teamed up with iam8bit and Skybound Games for new boxed editions in the west.

What we’ll be seeing first is a standard release, which is planned for May 24, 2022. All copies include an exclusive Eastward chibi-style sticker.

Loco Motive

Publisher Chucklefish and developer Robust Games have confirmed that Loco Motive, a point-and-click mystery-comedy game, is on the way to Switch. A release is planned for Summer 2022.

Eastward update 1.1.0c

A significant 1.1.0c update has come to the Switch version of Eastward. It comes with new features like fast travel and bookmark chapter selection, a ton of bug fixes, and quality of life adjustments.

A significant 1.1.0 update is on the way to Eastward, it’s been announced.

The game will be getting new features like the ability to start a new game from a specific chapter, fast travel, and new graphics modes. Many bug fixes and improvements are planned as well.
