Mario Kart Tour has updated, and the second half of Tokyo Tour has started. As part of this, Peach is the featured tour gift and those who subscribe to the Gold Pass have a chance to obtain Dry Bowser as a tour gift.

Another highlight is that Mario (Hakama), featuring the special skill Coin Box, is appearing as the spotlight content for this pipe. The Kabuki Dasher is also included which increases the Dash time of Dash Panels and the bonus points earned for using one. Last but not least, the Full Flight glider can be obtained and increases your chance of getting the Mega Mushroom item from Item Boxes.

The next Sync Pair coming to Pokemon Masters has been announced. Elesa & Zebstrika will be available in a Spotlight Scout soon; the exact date for the Scout hasn’t been announced yet. Additionally, an Electric type training event will also take place soon; we don’t know the dates for that one either at the moment.

The Pokemon Company and DeNA have shared the full letter from Pokemon Masters producer Yu Sasaki in English. Throughout the post, Sasaki and new producer Tetsuya Iguchi share their thoughts on the current state of the game and their plans moving forward.

Here’s the letter in its entirety:

Pokemon Masters hasn’t exactly had the best launch. Fans haven’t responded favorably to the mobile game, but producer Satoshi Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi today issued a letter addressing various complaints. Additionally, they apologized for the amount of problems the game has had and lack of content. DeNA believed that the current set-up and EX Challenge would be sufficient, but now know that EX they’re not for everyone.

These are the complains Sasaki and Iguchi brought up:

As part of today’s Mario Kart Tour content update, Tokyo Blur has been added as a new track. See it in action with the footage below.

Nintendo has published a new trailer to mark the launch of the Tokyo Tour in Mario Kart Tour — and the footage confirms several new characters and tracks being added to the game.

On top of special Tokyo versions of Mario and Peach, it appears that Bowser Jr., The Koopalings, Lakitu, Baby Rosalina, and the previously confirmed Rosalina and Wario are all being added.

In addition, tracks spotted include the new Tokyo track, Neo Boswer City, Kalimari Desert, Donut Plains, and SNES Rainbow Road. Those interested can view the footage below.

1,000 gems have been out today to all players of Pokemon Masters. This is a token of apology on behalf of DeNA for a recent bug regarding Sync Moves over level 2.

Also, a new Scout has begun. The Fighting & Flying type scout features higher chances of getting Sync Pairs that have the Fighting or Flying type:

  • Blue & Pidgeot
  • Kahili & Toucannon
  • Bruno & Machamp
  • Marshal & Conkeldurr
  • Winona & Pelipper
  • Brawly & Makuhita
  • Maylene & Meditite

Note that Sync Pairs of other types still have a chance of appearing. This featured type scout will be available until October 24.

Nintendo has confirmed that Rosalina is part of the new Tokyo Tour event in Mario Kart Tour — along with a tease of what looks to be SNES Rainbow Road.

Those interested can view the official tweet detailing the two additions below.

The Co-op Battle Rally event has started in Pokemon Masters. Co-op battle missions have been added that reward you with items used for training. Also, for a limited time, the number of times you can replay supercourses has been increased to 6. The event will last until October 17.
