Capcom made various announcements pertaining to Mega Man this week, and each one involved Switch. Among what was revealed, both Mega Man Legacy Collections are coming to the console. Capcom also said that amiibo support will be included.

Digital Eclipse, the company that handled the first Mega Man Legacy Collection, is confirmed to be working on the new Switch release. They’re not involved with Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 or the re-releases of the Mega Man X games, however (as was the case with other platforms).

Sine Mora EX launches on Switch today… sort of. The digital version has gone up on the eShop, though the physical version might be facing some issues.

Reader Jes T tells us that he pre-ordered a copy at Best Buy, but received an email this morning stating that Sine Mora EX has been delayed to an unspecified date. The retailer’s customer support added that they don’t have any copies of the game physically for Switch and haven’t heard when that will change. Best Buy as well as Amazon list Sine Mora EX as sold out online or temporarily out of stock.

We’ll keep tabs on the situation and will let you know about any future developments.

Lots of gameplay has surfaced for Sine Mora EX, arriving soon on Switch. View 27 minutes of footage in the video below.

In its first week in Japan, Mega Man Legacy Collection sold 23,942 units as reported by Media Create, or 22,259 copies if you’re going with Dengeki. Based on information from the latter sales tracker, the game sold through 50 percent of its initial shipment. Mega Man Legacy Collection is a package of classic titles rather than a brand new release in the series, so it’s a bit tough to judge its performance.

Update: Pricing error has now been fixed!

There are currently some issues with pricing of Mega Man Legacy Collection on the 3DS eShop. It should be $14.99, but the asking price is double that. Capcom is looking into the issue and advises 3DS owners from making a purchase until it’s fixed.

The publisher issued the following notice on Twitter today:

It’s been over half a decade since Mega Man received a new release, but the iconic character still lives on by making the rounds with appearances in places such as Super Smash Bros. Finally though, a new product is here. Mega Man Legacy Collection brings together the first six titles of The Blue Bomber’s adventure into one spot, with added challenges, a museum to look at concept art from each game, and a music player to listen to some of the series’ most memorable tracks. This package serves as a way to honor Mega Man’s legacy and impact since his arrival into video games, and is one hardcore fans of the series will certainly enjoy.

Mega Man Legacy Collection’s launch is nearly here. We’re posting one more gameplay video below that contains 10 minutes of footage.
