As of today, GameStop is running a pair of new trade-in deals for Switch.

First up, GameStop will provide consumers with 50% more credit for used games when traded toward a new Switch system or games. This lasts through March 14.

Five new SKUs for Switch games have popped up in GameStop’s database. These are all mystery titles at present, as each one has the label “Available sku”.

It’s no secret that a Nintendo Direct will be held in just a few hours from now. We don’t have to tell you that there’s a high probability that these SKUs are related. Once the presentation ends, it’s possible that GameStop will begin taking pre-orders for whatever these products are soon after.

In what is becoming an almost weekly restock at this point, GameStop has the SNES Classic Edition in stock again. You can order a system here. Fortunately, this has been much easier to secure compared to the NES Classic, which will be offered again at some point this year.

GameStop has again restocked the Super NES Classic Edition, which has thankfully been a regular occurrence as of late. If you still haven’t been able to find one, you can order the system here. This does usually sell out, but it should be in stock for a good while.

Update: Bumped to the top. Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition is confirmed for May in North America and June in Europe.


Original: GameStop has added in a product listing for Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition. It provides some new information about the game’s release, including a pre-order bonus.

Those who reserve Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition at GameStop will receive a limited edition 5-inch Chocolate Cow Plush. The offer is valid in-store and online, though quantities are “extremely limited”.

GameStop has Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition down for $39.99. We have a look at the boxart below, though only as a small image.


GameStop has once again restocked the Super NES Classic Edition. If you’d like to place an order, do so here. GameStop is one of the few retailers with regular restocks of the SNES Classic, so hopefully those who are looking for a unit will be able to secure one.

Original: This past weekend, Nintendo revealed that Pearl and Marina from Splatoon 2 are getting their own amiibo. GameStop has now opened pre-orders here.

The new Splatoon 2 amiibo launch later this year. You can reserve the 2-pack for $25.

The SNES Classic Edition has been seeing more regular restocks at GameStop, and it’s available once again. You can order this from the retailer here. It’s likely to sell out not too long from now, but you should have an opportunity to nab the system.

Retailers have started taking pre-orders for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. You can reserve it on Amazon here or GameStop here.

Amazon and GameStop both show a price point for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. At least physically, the game will cost $39.99.

GameStop is now taking pre-orders for the Detective Pikachu amiibo. You can reserve it here. The amiibo is also up on Amazon here for those who missed the news yesterday.
