Catarina Claes was a very huge brat as a child. She was unruly, selfish, and had a mean streak that made family and staff at her mansion home shy away from her. Born into a noble family, Catarina had everything she could ever want. One day, awakening to memories of her past life as a Japanese high school student, Catarina realized that the life she was currently living was the main plot of a visual novel game, Fortune Lover, from her past world – one where the character she just happened to be born as would meet very unfortunate endings based on the player character’s choices. Understanding that fate was not on her side, she quickly and rapidly changed. The once bratty child devoted herself to overcoming each and every terrible ending she could face, winning the affection of those who would cause her demise in the process, though she does seem to be ignorant to how much her friends come to care for her. That’s the premise of Idea Factory’s latest Switch game, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom – Pirates of the Disturbance.
Tengoku Struggle: Strayside seeing English release on Switch

Original: Aksys Games is teaming up with Idea Factory for an English version of Tengoku Struggle: Strayside in the west, the two sides confirmed today. Fans can expect the Switch otome visual novel to arrive in North America and Europe in 2024.

Idea Factory has passed along a final release date for Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters in North America and Europe. In both regions, it’s slated for January 23, 2024.
Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters previously hit Japan this past August. Idea Factory then announced localization plans in September.

Sympathy Kiss release date set for February in the west, limited edition revealed

Today, Idea Factory announced the final release date for Sympathy Kiss and revealed a limited edition. The otome title launches February 27, 2024 in both North America and Europe.
The Sympathy Kiss Limited Edition will include a number of goodies in addition to the actual game. It comes with a hardcover art book, audio drama and official soundtrack, company travel tumbler, Estario stationary set, reversible cover sleeve, collector’s box, and exclusive trading card. Nearly two years after its Japanese debut, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom – Pirates of the Disturbance now has a release date on Switch in the west. Idea Factory today confirmed that it will launch on November 28, 2023.
Also announced today is a limited edition for My Next Life as a Villainess. We don’t have the details just yet, but fans will be able to grab it from the Idea Factory online store in North America and Europe.

Virche Evermore: ErroR:salvation has secured a release date in the west. Aksys Games will publish the title on November 9, 2023, the company announced today.
All first run copies of the game will include an exclusive set of seven full-color character cards.
Virche Evermore: ErroR:salvation, known as Shuuen no Virche -ErroR:salvation-, first came to Japan in October 2021. Aksys Games announced plans for localization last July with a 2023 release window.

Idea Factory made a number of new announcements at Anime Expo 2023, highlighted by the Switch version of Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution.
While Neptunia Game Maker R:Evolution was previously revealed for the platform, this is the first time we’re hearing about localization. It will be available in 2024.
Also planned are My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! – Pirates of the Disturbance (slated for Winter 2023) and Sympathy Kiss (planned for early 2024).

Original (6/19): Eastasiasoft, Idea Factory, and Compile Heart announced today that Mugen Souls Z is seeing release on Switch. It will be available this September.
Mugen Souls Z is a sequel to the original game, which is also on Switch. The RPG features multiple open worlds to explore, extensive character customization, and strategic turn-based combat on free-roaming battle maps. On Switch, the game includes all prior extras, content true to the original Japanese release such as hot springs mini-games and additional CG gallery images, plus full English language support for both text and audio.
