Triggerheart Excelica Enhanced physical

Limited Run Games today shared the news that it’s planning a Nintendo Switch physical release for Triggerheart Excelica Enhanced, a vertical shoot ’em up game.

Only a standard version will be available. However, each unit includes a booklet (the contents of which have not yet been detailed).

Drova physical

Today, Limited Run Games announced that it will produce a physical version of Drova: Forsaken Kin on Nintendo Switch.

Only a standard release is planned at this time, so there won’t be any sort of collector’s edition. However, each copy comes with a booklet.

It’s been over a year since we heard about the new Nintendo Switch physical release for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, but Limited Run Games has finally followed up with details. Remember that this has all of the data on a 32GB cartridge.

The company is planning a standard version, Steelbook Edition, and Collector’s Edition. With the Steelbook Edition, you’ll get the game, a steelbook, and slipcase. The collector’s edition has these same items plus the original soundtrack, USB floppy drive, BJ Blaskowicz and Supersoldat action figures, star card set, and replica album covers.

R-Type Delta HD Boosted physical

Today, Limited Run Games confirmed that it’s working on a physical release for R-Type: Delta HD Boosted on Nintendo Switch in the west.

There are plans for both a standard version and “Full Force Edition”. The latter includes the game, booklet, special box, double CD soundtrack, official fan book, lenticular poster, cloth poster, and art cards.

Astro Dogs physical

Limited Run Games is handling a physical release for Astrodogs on Nintendo Switch, the company has announced.

This will be a bit different compared to some of the company’s other products. For one thing, it’s not an ESRB cover (instead it’s PEGI for Europe), though it will work on all Nintendo Switch systems worldwide. Also, note that only 3,000 copies will be produced.

Tomba 2 physical

Limited Run Games will be releasing Tomba 2: The Evil Swine Return on Nintendo Switch in the future, and details about the physical release were shared today.

There’ll be a standard version, Classic Edition, and Whoopee Edition. With the Classic Edition, you’ll receive the game, retro box, steelbook, soundtrack CD, and double-sided poster. The Whoopee Edition has these same items while adding a deluxe hardcover art book and strategy guide, Charles figure, Tomba with flying squirrel suit figure, and art prints.

Ruffy and the Riverside physical

Announced today, Ruffy and the Riverside will be receiving a physical release on Nintendo Switch. Limited Run Games is coming through with this one.

Fans will be able to grab a standard copy for the title. As of now Limited Run doesn’t have plans for a special edition. However, a booklet is included with each copy.

Nickelodeon Splat Pack

Nickelodeon Splat Pack is on the way to Nintendo Switch, Limited Run Games just revealed.

This is a new collection of classic titles. It comes with Aaahh Real Monsters (SNES and SEGA Genesis), G.U.T.S (SNES), and Rocko’s Modern Life: Spunky’s Dangerous Day (SNES).

There’s something about that bobcat, isn’t there? Since making his debut in 1993, Bubsy has lived in gaming infamy for his in-your-face attitude, and also for the reputation of his games not being the best the platforming genre has to offer. Even still, the character has had an unmistakable impact on the industry, and whether ironic or sincere, he has garnered a following and earned himself a cult status amongst platforming mascots. This led to a revival of the series in the late 2010s with a nineteen year gap between the releases of Bubsy 3D in 1996 and Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back in 2017. Now, in 2025, we have a brand new collection of Bubsy’s original run of games before his near two-decade long catnap.

Rain World The Watcher

September 2024: There’s more to come for Rain World, and today it was announced that The Watcher will be made available on Nintendo Switch. It’s coming out on March 28, 2025.
