Koumajou Remilia II physical west Deluxe Edition

Limited Run Games has announced plans for a western Nintendo Switch physical release of Koumajou Remilia II: Stranger’s Requiem, which will include a collector’s edition.

The title did previously have a boxed version, but only in Japan. Now that’s extending to fans elsewhere as well.

In Stars and Time physical

In Stars and Time, which was already made available digitally on Nintendo Switch, is now taking the physical route. Limited Run Games confirmed plans for production today.

The company appears to be working on just a standard version at this time. There don’t appear to be any special editions happening, but we’ll keep you updated if we hear otherwise.

Chicory physical collector's edition

Limited Run Games announced plans for a Chicory: A Colorful Tale Nintendo Switch physical release over the summer, but the company shared new details today, including a collector’s edition.

Two versions are planned. Along with the collector’s edition, fans can opt for just a standard copy. Those who do pick up the collector’s edition will be given a number of extras – a coloring book, art cards, enamel pin, and CD soundtrack.

Snow Bros. Wonderland multiplayer physical release

We’ve got a new look at Snow Bros. Wonderland showing the game’s multiplayer functionality (and a physical release update).

Up to four people can play together in co-op and experience the whole adventure. This is a charge from the original title which only supporter two players.

Metal Slug Tactics physical

Limited Run Games today shared the news that it will make a physical release for Metal Slug Tactics on Switch. An estimated launch is scheduled for April 2025.

In addition to a standard copy, fans will be able to get their hands on a Commanding Officer Edition. The latter includes the game, special box, soundtrack, 12″x16″ double sided poster, sticker sheet, keychain, tank replica, and numbered certificate of authenticity.

PO'ed: Definitive Edition physical

PO’ed: Definitive Edition previously landed on Switch digitally, but now a physical release is happening. Limited Run Games unveiled plans for the boxed version today.

At least for now, PO’ed: Definitive Edition will only be sold standalone. Limited Run Games’ website does not mention any special editions.

Yakuza Kiwami physical Classic Edition

In a surprising move, Yakuza Kiwami will be getting a physical release on Switch after all.

Limited Run Games just pulled back the curtain on two boxed version for the console – standard and Classic Edition. For those that go with the Classic Edition, you’ll get a copy of the game, spot gloss premium box with slipcover, soundtrack, collectible acrylic standee, Mesuking cards, and character cards.

Penny's Big Breakaway physical

June 20: Penny’s Big Breakaway is receiving a physical release, Limited Run Games just revealed. Copies will be sold through the company’s website later in 2024.

Penny’s Big Breakaway was initially made available on Switch in February. Thus far, it has only been sold digitally on the eShop.

Wizardry Proving Grounds physical

Wizardry: Proving Grounds is on track to receive a physical release. That news comes from Clear River Games, who will distribute the PEGI version in Europe starting November 21, 2024. Limited Run Games is also readying an ESRB-rated version for fans in North America.

As of now neither company has said anything regarding special editions. It looks like Wizardry: Proving Grounds will only have a standard physical release.

Pumpkin Jack physical

It’s taken a few years, but Pumpkin Jack is finally getting the physical release treatment on Switch. Limited Run Games will be in charge of this one.

At least as of now, Pumpkin Jack will only be sold with a standalone copy. No special editions have been announced at this time.
